Mission Roll Call Launches Petition to Bring Attention to the Veteran Suicide Epidemic
This petition demands Congress to take action on the veteran suicide epidemic. In a few months, it receives more than 200,000 signatures. This was sent to Speaker Pelosi, Representative McCarthy, Senator McConnell, and Senator Schumer.

Mission Roll Call Launches "#MRCBeALeader" Social Media Campaign
The #MRCBeALeader campaign was launched to demonstrate veteran leadership during a crisis. COVID-19 put the country in a time of uncertainty and Mission Roll Call challenged veterans to share how they're leading by example within their communities and families.

Mission Roll Call Launches "From My Frontline to Yours" Media Campaign
The "From My Frontline to Yours" campaign was launched to raise awareness among those serving on the frontlines of the Covid-19 pandemic to make sure they know about post-traumatic growth, which focuses on ways to heal after trauma.

MRC Submits Written Testimony in Support of S785
Written testimony was submitted by Mission Roll Call to the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Veterans' Affairs on 9/10/2020. This was a hearing regarding a number of proposed veteran suicide prevention bills. The CEO of America's Warrior Partnership, Jim Lorraine, also testified before the Senate and House.

Mission Roll Call Joins the Military Vote Coalition
This coalition is a group of military family and veteran support organizations united by our goal to increase voter participation among this community. Mission Roll Call also launches its own #VetsSpeakUp voting encouragement campaign.

The House Unanimously Passes S785
Mission Roll Call’s efforts on educating, informing, and testifying before Congress were rewarded as the House unanimously passed S785. This bill increases veteran access to mental health services and will be a huge step toward reducing the veteran suicide epidemic. The President signed the bill into law on 10/17/2020.

Mission Roll Call Advocated for Military Families Regarding the Payroll Tax Deferral
Mission Roll Call sounded the alarm regarding the payroll tax that would impact millions of military families. Executive Director, Garrett Cathcart, increased awareness and support through the media and wrote to the Executive branch. Congress would soon spread the payroll tax repayments over 12 months.
