Changing VA Motto

A
B
“The VA motto is a direct quote from President Lincoln’s 2nd inaugural address, ’To care for him who shall have borne the battle, and for his widow and his orphan.’ Critics have said the motto needs to change to be more gender-neutral and reflect higher rates of women veterans using VA facilities across the country. Secretary McDonough has committed to changing the motto sometime this Spring. Do you support changing the motto, or keeping it as-is?”
